39. Immobilienforum am 17.09.2007
Jurysitzung des Internationalen Studentischen Ideenwettbewerbs 2007
bei Ernst & Young in Eschborn
Am 17.09.2007 hat die Jurysitzung unter Vorsitz Prof. Volkwin Marg stattgefunden. Die Jury hat sich mit sehr viel Engagement und Aufmerksamkeit die 46 eingereichten Arbeiten mehrfach angeschaut, diskutiert und bewertet.
Gegen 20:00 Uhr hat die Jury in Anwesenheit von Professoren, Studenten, Gästen und Mitgliedern des Immobilienforums die preisgekrönten Arbeiten mitgeteilt, jedoch ohne die Rangliste bekannt zu geben. Diese möchte die Jury am 29.10.2007 um 19:00 Uhr im Deutschen Architekturmuseum im Einzelnen würdigen und die Preise überreichen. Im Anschluss der Preisverleihung findet die Ausstellungseröffnung statt.

Jury meeting for the International Student Idea Contest 2007
at Ernst & Young in Eschborn
Chaired by Prof. Volkwin Marg the Jury convened on Sept. 17, 2007. In all 46 entries were submitted. The Jury studied them several times with great care and attention, discussed and assessed them.
Towards 8:00 p.m. in the presence of professors, students, guests and members of the Immobilienforum the Jury announced the prize-winning projects, but without revealing their ranking. The Jury would like to honor the individual winners on October 29, 2007 at 7:00 p-m. in the Deutsche Architekturmuseum. Following the bestowal of the prizes the exhibition will be officially opened.

Es gibt eine Änderung:
Auf vielfachen Wunsch wurde die Blattgröße der Verkleinerung von ursprünglich DIN A3 auf DIN A2 vergrößert. Auch die Anzahl der Blätter wurde von 3 auf 4 erhöht, da der horizontale und vertikale Strukturplan/Funktionsabläufe auch dargestellt werden sollen.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
By e-mail we already asked you to provide a final list containing the full names and contact data of the professors, assistants and students taking part; with the exception of two universities/universities of applied sciences all the other institutes have not yet provided us with this information. This is a prerequisite for the preliminary examination, the jury session, announcement of the prize winners and the award ceremony. May we politely request you to name in writing the relevant persons by July 20, 2007 at the latest, before submitting the results.
For the reasons at hand we would like to draw your urgent attention to the following:
1. In the original announcement pdf some of the colloquium’s results were corrected, as were, at a later date, the enquiries. Unfortunately not everything was immediately posted on the Internet, such that a revised version of the text became necessary. We have subsequently revised it and posted it on the Internet as of July 16, 2007. See announcement text English, status July 10, 2007
2. We would like to expressly point out the following: Please do not fold the A2 plans and send them in the A3 envelope, as partially crumpled plans will not make a particularly good impression on the jury.
3. The pdf formats in CD form requested in 1.3 needed to be expanded and should now also be submitted in tif form.
4. Please make sure you put the correct address on entry envelopes/packages:

The addition c/o build.ing. is extremely important for delivery purposes, as the forum’s secretarial department has no offices of its own. Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
First of all, to answer your question regarding the measures: Things are at an advanced stage and several universities have already begun putting together their presentation. As such, for reasons of equality, changes such as these can no longer be made.
The measures outlined in the tender text remain valid.
One change has, however, been recently implemented:
Following numerous requests the size of the minimized sheet of paper has been increased to A2 from the original A3. The number of sheets has also been increased to 4 from 3, as the horizontal and vertical structure plans/operation sequences should also be illustrated.
I would like to thank you for your cooperation and ask you to pass on this information to your colleagues.
Furthermore there have been some changes to the composition of the jury:
• Prof. Rudolf Schäfer, Dean of the Free University Berlin is replaced by Mr. Mario Bellini, Mario Bellini Associati S.r.I. Milan
